Zinc is in every cell of the body and is a part of over 200 enzyme systems. Essential for the maintenance of vision, taste and smell, this mineral is also necessary for immune function, reproductive health, protein synthesis and cell growth.
It is also required for the activity of antioxidant enzyme super-oxidise dismutase.
