Pro-Dessert™ a delicious way to include more quality protein into your diet. Pro-Dessert™ mixes easily in 150 ml of cold water in a shaker bottle, hand mixer or blender and then can be poured into a desired container and allowed to set for 3 to 5 minutes.
CNP Professional's instant protein pudding mix is made from our unique blend of fast and slow release undenatured proteins. Pro-Dessert™ includes micellar casein which is an undenatured slow release protein, medically proven to be anti-catabolic, plus whey protein high fraction concentrate which is an undenatured fast release protein providing higher levels of growth factors than normal whey protein concentrates that are denatured, i.e., have passed through chemical or heat treatment processes.
Peptide bonded glutamine has been included too as it is an amino acid that promotes a healthy gut and growth hormone production. Egg white has also been added due to its high content of the amino acid cysteine which helps maintain muscle mass and protects the liver. Cysteine also plays an important part in the production of glutathione which is the body's primary anti-oxidant which neutralise free radicals and enhances the immune system.
Pro-Dessert™ contains low D.E. material (same as used in Pro-MR). Low DE Maltodextrin is an easily digestible form of carbohydrate made from various natural sources, e.g., corn, rice, potato and waxy maize) and is thus available in a range of DE values (dextrose equivalent). A lower D.E. value in a maltodextrin equates to a lower G.I. (glycemic index). Maltodextrin is the preferred carbohydrate used in energy foods, due to its solubility, low taste profile, and quick absorption.
Pro-Dessert™ is ideal to be taken after any meal to increase protein intake or can be taken as a healthy treat at any time. Each 41 gram sachet of Pro-Dessert™ has only 145 calories, yet provides 25 grams of our unique protein blend but with only 4 grams of carbohydrates and 0.5 grams of saturated fat. Each box of Pro-Dessert™ contains 15 measured sachets and is available in chocolate or vanilla flavour.
